Wish I'd been home to see the debate. Anyone know when/if a rebroadcast is planned?

I'd like Huckabee more if he could convince me his tax-cash for illegals track record wasn't a fluke. I'm sticking with Fred or Mitt at this point. (Again, Tancredo in the primary if he's still around.)

I'd say Huckabee would be a good VP candidate if he had a better fiscal assessment from the The Club for Growth org. While Mitt's isn't perfect, he has a much better review. Huckabee was a pretty big tax and spend guy in Arkansas. A proclivity that won't go away as POTUS, so Huck isn't getting my vote.

Though if I was a churchgoer, I'm sure he wouldn't put me to sleep on Sunday...he's very funny!

Also, Mitt is a very polite person and doesn't come across as harsh when he criticizes Hillary.

Gotta admit, I was all Fred Thompson going into this debate, but I can see myself jumping on the Huckabee train. I even text voted for him on Hannity's poll last night. I never do that.

I'm not McCain fan, but I thought he did ok too. Fred did better in this debate than the first one he did but I am still not convinced. I did love Tancredo's smack down of Pelosi, but unfortunately he's a one trick immigration pony. He and Duncan Hunter need to step aside. But not Ron Paul. He needs to stay right where he is for now for the entertainment value. Heaven help us, but he's a nut.

I want to hear a debate strickly on foreign policy. That's my main concern.

The words that made me start to heart Huckabee, from his Web site:

"I'd like you to join me at the best 'Going Out of Business' sale I can imagine - one held by the Internal Revenue Service. Am I running for president to shut down the federal government? Not exactly. But I am running to completely eliminate all federal income and payroll taxes. And do I mean all - personal federal, corporate federal, gift, estate, capital gains, alternative minimum, Social Security, Medicare, self-employment."

Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.

CTD -- I meant I wanted to hear that he wants it, not his (impressive) bio. A presidential campaign is a long tough brutal road and I'd like to feel he'd have the energy necessary for the Clinton machine.

Right now I don't feel that.

In response to the 6:30 comment. You vote for the man ultimately, not his campaign.
