Coming Out: Dirty Harry Is John Nolte
Posted by Dirty Harry on Wednesday, June 25th, 2008
It was less than six-months ago when the fine founders of LIBERTAS asked me for the first time if I would be willing to drop the “dirty harry” pseudonym and use my real name. It was a request, not a demand. I was given options, choices — all of them fair and generous. They were of the opinion that a pseudonym would complicate some changes in what they saw me doing a few months down the road — changes I was eager to be a part of.
Admittedly, for a good thirty-minutes I was neurotic over the idea. But after calls to — for obvious reasons — my manager and one of the producers of my film, and a talk with The Hot Little Number I Call Mrs. Harry (that is her real name), I agreed it was the right thing to do.
My coming out was to occur on the day my responsibilities over at LIBERTAS changed. Obviously, that day’s not coming, but I still agree it’s the right thing to do.
You see, never did I imagine part of my future would be on these here Internets. Like many people, I plunked around on various blogs as a commenter using a “handle.” There was a low-hit political blog I maintained for a few months as ‘dirty harry,’ and then once I started writing for LIBERTAS the name just kind of worked. It was memorable. It was a brand. It allowed me to stick out among the chaos of the blogosphere. There was also an air of mystery about it that everyone got a kick out of.
Some time late last year, that air of mystery was replaced by the smell of chickenshit. The novelty had worn out and the reason for the pseudonym could no longer be rationalized. It was chickenshit. I knew it. You knew it. And the request of my former employers was merely the push I needed.
Having made peace with the decision to come out so many months ago, I see no reason to reverse it now. A new url doesn’t make it any less chickenshit.
And so, I am John Nolte. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the year of our Lord 1966. My Dad’s name is Ralph, an auto mechanic and carpenter. My mother is Jane, a schoolteacher. I have a loving Stepfather, two step-sisters, and a younger brother and sister.
I met The Hot Little Number I Call Mrs. Harry in 1985. I was nineteen, and it was love at first sight. She was my first girlfriend and we’re going to remarry in the Catholic church next year on our 20th wedding anniversary. I still remember the way I felt the first time I saw her, because I still feel that way.
In 1993 we moved to Boone, North Carolina. It’s a town of 13,000 (at least it was then)nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains and the most beautiful place on earth. We bought a home and I worked as a corporate bill collector for a company called Milliken and Michaels. I was a very good bill collector working for a very good company and I made very good money.
There were some crazy, restless side-trips along the way. I was the campaign manager for a Republican State Senate candidate in 1996 (don’t be too impressed, we got trounced), and after that, while working part-time, I tried college for a couple years. Got as far as my prerequisites but couldn’t for the life of me choose a major, so I dropped out and went back to bill collecting.
My nice little collection agency was eventually bought out by a not so nice big one and one day I asked The Hot Little Number if we could leave our fine home and incomes and go to Hollywood where I would do any job available to get closer to the movies.
She said, yes.
If you’d have told me that after a mere five-years I would’ve optioned a few screenplays or had the honor of working with the best people you could ever hope to meet on my own independent film, I would’ve called you crazy. Driving here from North Carolina, I was thinking more along the lines of production assistant, or the smart-ass on Disney’s Jungle Cruise.
Life … what a ride.
Anyway, it’s nice to finally meet all of you.
P.S. I’ll still blog as DH, in the same way the Anchoress, my buddy GayPatriot West, and Allahpundit retain their handles. I did change my bio, however.

Adriana Sarabiaon 24 Jun 2008 at 8:00 pm 2Been reading you for months. I’m a conservative who also happens to be a screenwriter; still attempting to break into the business. Nice to finally meet you too.
Kiton 24 Jun 2008 at 8:04 pm 3Dear John “Dirty Harry” Nolte,
I will look forward to seeing the film BEAUTIFUL LOSER. I hope it is good. All the IMDB user comments seem to think so.
Oh, and since you lived in North Carolina for a while: How was the South? I live in Alabama (Yes we have electricity).
SteveBrooklineMAon 24 Jun 2008 at 8:05 pm 4Congratulations! I’m sure you won’t regret it.
Carlitoson 24 Jun 2008 at 8:05 pm 5There’s a reason why people clicking past your blog perk up and stick around to see what’s up. That was a terrific post. Good to meet you. Of the hundreds, perhaps thousands of blogs I’ve clicked past, I’m a regular on 3 blogs only. Yours is one of them. Keep up the great work.
Tom Aricoon 24 Jun 2008 at 8:06 pm 6So you’re the guy that kept calling me about that old credit card bill!!!
Kiton 24 Jun 2008 at 8:09 pm 7John,
Any relations to Nick?
(Bad Joke Alert!)
kishkeon 24 Jun 2008 at 8:11 pm 8So where does Chicago shine in?
Templaron 24 Jun 2008 at 8:12 pm 9I would’ve stuck with the anonymity, personally.
Keetson 24 Jun 2008 at 8:14 pm 10You were at the Philadelphia Film Festival and you didn’t tell me???? OOOoooohhhh sweet irony….
Like a swift kick in the head. And to think at the exact time your movie was playing I was watching a terribly shoddy Scandinavian film, before and after which I was checking out Libertas on the old iPhone.
Better coming out late than never.
HARRY HERE: We were one of just a few films to completely sell out. It was one of the best nights of my life.
Carolynon 24 Jun 2008 at 8:16 pm 11John Nolte, awfully nice to meet you. Your post is wonderful.
But I have to confess - I always thought of you as a brunette!
Greg Marquezon 24 Jun 2008 at 8:20 pm 12Wow. Those are some pretty nice reviews over at IMDB when are we going to get a chance to see it. I’m in southern California.
Buck Turgidsonon 24 Jun 2008 at 8:20 pm 13So when do we finally get to see “Beautiful Loser?” I’ve been checking imdb and the “official website” for what seems like over a year now (you really should not have listed Govindini as a cast member if you wanted to remain truly anonymous).
Buck Turgidsonon 24 Jun 2008 at 8:26 pm 14Kick ass photo, by the way. John Ford country, natch!
Yuckabuckon 24 Jun 2008 at 8:27 pm 15Wow.
Speechless.
I swear there’s more drama here than in the new Indiana Jones movie, even if I still liked the darn thing.
(Awkward silence.)
Uh…if it means anything, yesterday I watched Once Upon A Time In The West because of Harry’s talking about it, and I was blown away. Especially by Jason Robards, which I did not expect. He seemed to be the character we were meant to most identify with, as the others were more extreme- Fonda, too evil; Bronson, too mysterious; Cardinale, too heroic in that survival kind of way.
So, thanks Harry, er… Mr. Nolte.
(Sorta funny how most of the comments so far shy away from calling you John, though no one had problems calling you Harry.)
Peter T Chattawayon 24 Jun 2008 at 8:28 pm 16Happy Coming Out Day!
Wilson the Volleyballon 24 Jun 2008 at 8:35 pm 17When Beautiful Loser comes out on DVD, it will immediately be on the top of my Netflix Queue.
You looked different than I imagined (isn’t that always the case?). Nice to finally meet you sir.
Kiton 24 Jun 2008 at 8:36 pm 18Good to meet you John.
E Porvaznikon 24 Jun 2008 at 8:37 pm 19Welcome out, John! Feelin’ thuper and thanks for athking!
Buck Turgidsonon 24 Jun 2008 at 8:40 pm 20So does this mean you will soon give us the title to “Richie’s” movie, so we can go scavenging the Wal-Mart $5 bin?
HARRY HERE: Hoodrats. Dude’s name is Edgar. : http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0446355/
Patrickon 24 Jun 2008 at 8:43 pm 21Good luck with everything Hollywood, and I hope George Clooney doesn’t send his goons after you. Nice misdirection with the e mail address.
Voodooon 24 Jun 2008 at 8:46 pm 22Once I was passing by the TV and just happened to catch a woman I knew from work being interviewed. She was on a local program called ‘Town Hall’ that brings in 20 or so people with a common issue so they can discuss how cruel the world is.
She was telling the interviewer what a relief it was that she had finally (after 10 years or so) come out of the closet and revealed her true sexuality. She was sure the sky would fall, she would be ridiculed and fired and drawn and quartered and….but it was wonderful to be out in the open.
In the first 30 milliseconds of my first encounter with her 10 years before I had intuited her sexuality. I don’t think I was alone.
She lived long and prospered.
I expect an even happier story for DH.
amzarakon 24 Jun 2008 at 8:46 pm 23I have to agree with Templar. I never once thought of you as chickenshit. Since you have come out of the conservative closet, I wish you the best of luck out there in LaLaLand. Please keep up the good work.
the405on 24 Jun 2008 at 8:49 pm 24Harry,
(I’m sorry its just cool to call you that.)
Bravo! This takes real courage! I can assure you that when Beautiful Loser comes out here in a theatre in LA (note I said when not if) I will be first in line.
HARRY HERE: A theatrical release is unlikely. We’re hoping for DVD. It’s a small movie. Real small. And quirky. We’ve been reviewed four-times and would currently enjoy a 50% on the tomatometer. No game-changer here. Just a an odd, small film some people really like and some don’t at all.
[IMH]on 24 Jun 2008 at 8:52 pm 25Nice to meet you, John. For the record, I never once thought the pseudonym was “chickenshit”. The only ill will I felt was I wanted to know about your movie.
And now that I know about it, I want to see it, darn it.
[IMH]on 24 Jun 2008 at 8:53 pm 26Oh, yeah, and I think most of us are still going to call you DH. I certainly am.
critical matton 24 Jun 2008 at 8:54 pm 27Cool beans.
the405on 24 Jun 2008 at 8:59 pm 28Please keep updated on the DVD release then.
Zundfolgeon 24 Jun 2008 at 9:00 pm 29Well I lost a bet with the hot little number I call Mrs. Zundy.
Based on some comments Harry made about Topeka in his post about his movie ( http://dirtyharrysplace.com/?cat=45 ) that I was convinced that he was Ethan Shaftel and his movie was Suspension http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0989760/ (which was filmed in Topeka, Kansas).
On a side note I really enjoyed Suspension and would recommend it.
Now I gotta see Beautiful Loser Is it out on DVD yet?
PerfectTommyon 24 Jun 2008 at 9:19 pm 30A blog, by any other name, would read as sweet.
Keep up the good work Dirty John.
wanketteon 24 Jun 2008 at 9:25 pm 31Nice, John. I think the only thing that freaks me out a bit is the fact that YOU’RE YOUNGER THAN ME!
Not by much, though.
I hope you’re gratified by the response of your many fans. ; )
Kinlawon 24 Jun 2008 at 10:05 pm 32How do you do Mr Nolte.
Nothing chickens**t about you in any way.
I am however glad to finally know that I will be able to see your movie.
Flashon 24 Jun 2008 at 10:15 pm 33I thought you would be taller. (j/k)
Pseudonyms can be fun sometimes ( a guy who walks with a cane calling himself Flash for example ) but they can also be a huge pain in the ass when everyone is trying to guess who you are. Been there and done that, got exposed by someone I was supposed to trust. (roll eyes)
But you unzipped your fly and now it is time to make a public stand. Good luck, God bless, and don’t let the bastards wear you down.
Troyon 24 Jun 2008 at 10:19 pm 34Surprise Surprise… welcome to the sunshine John! I have a feeling as distribution decentralizes you won’t have any of the problems (or as many) that gave rise to the pseudonym. No chickenshit at all… gotta feed the family and pay the bills.
Kensingtonon 24 Jun 2008 at 10:27 pm 35Couple of brass ones, John. Congratulations!
stillerson 24 Jun 2008 at 10:29 pm 36Your movie’s called Beautiful Loser?? Is Bob Segar’s song in the movie??
DJL804on 24 Jun 2008 at 10:33 pm 37Nice to finally meet you John. I’m looking forward to seeing your film, and I agree John Miller - you are my favorite film blogger as well. Libertas isn’t the same without you.
Michael Hutchisonon 24 Jun 2008 at 10:42 pm 38First off: Nice to meet you, John Nolte. I, too, will keep saying “DH” from here on.
Secondly: I’ll be watching for your “Beautiful Loser” on DVD so I can review it on the Monitor Duty blog.
Now to the most important thing:
YOU GOT THE GREATEST AMERICAN HERO TO BE IN YOUR MOVIE??? William Katt?! How the hell did you pull that off?
AND John Schneider AND Taylor Dane? And…whoah… Govindini Murty?
Christianon 24 Jun 2008 at 10:52 pm 39Welcome! Good on ya!
Daniel Crandallon 24 Jun 2008 at 11:08 pm 40So if you don’t start getting flack and work offers don’t dry up for running Dirty Harry’s Place, will that change your opinion about Hollywood’s unwritten blacklist against conservatives?
johnmarkon 24 Jun 2008 at 11:19 pm 41I’ve known for quite awhile your real name from your email address at your old website. I then looked up your film on IMDB.
I was tempted a time or two to say who you were so others could look up your movie, but I figured they’d learn sooner or later.
I actually think the anonymity aspect is fine, but at some point your movie would give it away anyhow.
Jack Marinoon 24 Jun 2008 at 11:35 pm 42John… now the worms will be turning for you brother. I pray you will avoid the road I traveled on in liberal Hollywood. After so many years of being blackballed you grow more determined to beat them at their own game. So never lose heart if you are thrown into the Valley of Rejection. Its all about never giving up even when both liberal and conservatives work behind the scenes to destroy you. I wish you the best of luck on your journey into the unknown, my fellow warrior filmmaker! You know how to get a hold of me when the times get bad.
I will only blog on this site because John Nolte is a true supporter of filmmakers with conservative themes. He doesn’t have an colossal ego or a jealous bone in his body for any filmmaker.
When I first met John Nolte and his lovely wife, I gave him a copy of my film. He wrote me a fair and honest review of my film a few years ago. For his years of support and being a friend, I put a portion of his review on the back of my DVD jacket. I have had the honor of being turned down by every liberal film festival and the three conservative ones, so I am batting a thousand. My goal is not recognition in Hollywood or wannabe filmmakers with degrees or jaded film buffs. I am after all the Vietnam Vets and the millions of veterans, wives, widows and dependents. The letters I have received from Vietnam Vets is more praise then I deserve. After twenty years of pushing this one film, John as you know, you will begin to treat your successes and your failures as total strangers and only then will you make the films you want to make and let the chips fall where they may. John, in the end… no one can take a damn thing away from you- ever!
Not to embarrassed you John, but I have been waiting for a few years to show your review of FORGOTTEN HEROES to all here that support you and admire you. I want them to see just how much you love movies and your passion to support a fellow filmmaker you didn’t even know. I’ll never forget that.

Splashon 24 Jun 2008 at 11:47 pm 43Whoa! Good stuff! First a sighting of Outlaw13 over at DHP2, now a look at the man behind the magic!
Your film sounds awesome. Downplay it all you want, but it’s a great concept with bigger names in it than we probably all expected. Can’t wait to see it.
Man…I’m so tempted to tell you all who I really am now, too. It would blow your minds. By how non-mind-blowing it would be, I mean.

Charmed, John. It’s nice to meet you. Eagerly awaiting the DVD. Something tells me it’s going to sell very well.
Now who the heck is on the horse in the background?
Carlos Eduardo Chieson 25 Jun 2008 at 3:57 am 46Dear John,
I’m from Brazil and have read you on Libertas for as long as you have written there. Never once I taught in comment, but I could not pass the chance to congratulate you today. As a fine writer you are also a fine man.
I hope you all the best. I keep writing so I can keep reading.
Nice to meet you John Nolte
Josh Dawson 25 Jun 2008 at 4:05 am 47“Anonymity. It’s like a warm blanket.” Welcome to the harsh cold of strangers trying to figure out where you live.
Just started reading your blog a few days ago on the recommendation of Barb over at Church of the Masses. I’ve really been enjoying it. I’m a classic movie lover and conservative filmmaker myself.
My brother and I wrote and directed our first feature this past year. It’s a suspense-thriller set in the world of small-town church politics. Too “Christian” for mainstream. Too edgy for “Christian” market. Yeah. We’re pretty smart.
I’d love to get you a copy to review if you do that sort of thing. http://www.dangerouscalling.com for a trailer.
Keep up the great work and keep the classic movie recommendations coming!
Mr24pon 25 Jun 2008 at 4:22 am 48This is awesome! I hope you encourage more people to “come out” in the business.
I never thought of you as chicken either. I wanted to know who you were just because I wanted to see your movie. Your life’s change from bill collector to filmmaker/screenwriter is inspiring.
On a side note, who runs the MySpace page for your movie? I want to add it to my friends list but no one has been on it since last November.

Buck Turgidsonon 25 Jun 2008 at 5:07 am 54Hey guys, DH has yet another blog, about his movie, although the most recent post is from April. http://beautifullosering.blogspot.com/
This is what gave it away for me. Some of its posts are on the same subject matter as DH’s Libertas posts, and feature the same quick wit and grammatical quirks, such as gratuitous apostrophes.
Anyways, until we get to actually see this movie, you can learn about as much as there is to know here.
Here’s more, but not quite as informative overall as the blog:

Mr Stay Pufton 25 Jun 2008 at 6:12 am 56Now I can stop trying to come up with anagrams of “Dirty Harry” to try and solve the mystery myself.
Good luck, John.
Cambiason 25 Jun 2008 at 6:27 am 57It is a little sobering to realize all this hard-won wisdom from a seasoned veteran is coming from a man who is exactly my own age.
AppDaveon 25 Jun 2008 at 6:44 am 58I’ve been a fan of DH on this site and Libertas, but have never posted anything before. I just wanted to say wow, BOONE, NC! I was in Boone during the same time (’94-’98) as a college student. Go App State! It was my favorite place I’ve ever lived and I wish I still lived there!

Stickwick Staperson 25 Jun 2008 at 7:52 am 62Neat! And can’t wait to see Beautiful Loser.
I’ve been contemplating “coming out” for a couple of years — not that the stakes are anywhere near as high as for you, John — but for now it’s still Stickwick (aka Sarah).
photomanon 25 Jun 2008 at 8:03 am 63John,
Are you related to Art Garfunkel?
Lauraon 25 Jun 2008 at 8:35 am 64Nice to meet you, John. I’ve been reading your stuff for a long time now, although I’ve never commented before. I’m happy to know your real name so that I can watch for your movie to come out. Kudos to Mrs. Harry for agreeing to follow your dream with you! That’s a special lady you’ve got there.
I never commented over on Libertas because it seemed like such an inside Hollywood blog, and I’m far, far away from Hollywood. I just enjoy movies - at least, I used to - but I’m not trying to make them. I would just like to be able watch them again.
jicon 25 Jun 2008 at 8:40 am 65“(you really should not have listed Govindini as a cast member if you wanted to remain truly anonymous).”
I wish I’d thought of that. It seems so obvious in retrospect. Of course it wouldn’t actually have changed anything, but I’d be feeling really smug right now.
Anyway, I’m glad that we now know DH’s secret identity. I’m pleased to meet you John Nolte, and I’m looking forward to your movie.
By the way DH, are you able to tell us the significance of the “Mike Taylor” identity you used for your contact email?
JimmyCon 25 Jun 2008 at 8:42 am 66You made a movie with The Mighty Keith David?! That alone must have made the trip out to Hollywood worthwhile.
Nice to meet you, and best of luck with the distribution of your film. Hope you’ll keep us informed as things progress- I for one can’t wait to see it.

You’re way cooler than Nick Nolte.
Neton 25 Jun 2008 at 9:49 am 73I’m a relative newbie to Libertas and now to Dirty Harry, and I applaud your decision to no longer be anonymous. Planetsuzon 25 Jun 2008 at 10:30 am 77Hello. DHP is my new daily read now that you’ve moved from Libertas. Thanks for sticking up for conservatism in the Left Coast trenches, especially now that you’re “out”. It will likely bring you more professional ire, but also credibility too. When I was looking for a job last year I kept some of my work as former journalist for a conservative Christian newspaper and writer for a Christian institution off my resume because I knew I’d be disqualified for certain positions if my conservative politics were known. That’s sad in a country that supposedly values “free speech.” Good luck. Now where’s that “Donate” button again?
The Ugly Americanon 25 Jun 2008 at 11:44 am 78Heyyyy…..YOU’RE the guy who cut in front of me last week at the Coffee Bean on Ventura!

Angry Dumboon 25 Jun 2008 at 11:50 am 79Harry, you rock. I love your posts and read you daily. I was raised in northern Illinois, cheered for the Brewers (not the Cubs/White Sox), and was also born in 1966. No wonder your cultural references click with me. Keep em flying.
Dappaon 25 Jun 2008 at 12:13 pm 80Hello for the Communist east headquarters of Cambridge Massachusetts Pleasure to meet you John. I emailed awhile back trying to sneak the name of your film out of you but you didn’t fall for it. I look forward to seeing your film. Your “put up or shut up” articles have been invaluable to me and I thank you for them.
Monkeydartson 25 Jun 2008 at 12:14 pm 81That’s funny. After two decades in California and even longer in the entertainment industry we moved to the Carolinas in 2005. Never been happier. You’re an every day read here, John.
Kenon 25 Jun 2008 at 12:53 pm 82Holy @#*%… I read this and thought you’ve stolen my story:
“And so, I am John Nolte. Born in …the year of our Lord 1966. … I have a…younger brother and sister.
I met The Hot Little Number I Call Mrs. Harry in 1985. I was nineteen, and it was love at first sight. She was my first girlfriend and we’re going to remarry in the Catholic church next year on our 20th wedding anniversary. I still remember the way I felt the first time I saw her, because I still feel that way.”
Every part of this is true for me…well, you beat us to the altar by one year, but still…and to top it off, I work for a member of our state legislature–okay, I didn’t ge thim elected, but my work helps keep him in office:
“I was the campaign manager for a Republican State Senate candidate in 1996 (don’t be too impressed, we got trounced), and after that, while working part-time, I tried college for a couple years. Got as far as my prerequisites but couldn’t for the life of me choose a major, so I dropped out and went back to bill collecting.”
I even tried college the first time around and couldn’t figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up, quit after 2 1/2 years–finally got my degree in 2004, my dream job in 2006.
Love your website, just found it courtesy of John J. Miller at The Corner. And really love your life story!
Robert Lindseyon 25 Jun 2008 at 1:02 pm 83Great, the one day I am out of town, you do the big reveal and I’m probably the last commenter.
I was also born in 1966; I figured you were close to that from your comments.
Nice to meet you John, Dirty Harry will undoubtedly still be your nickname.
I would have preferred a pic of the Hot Little Number. No offense.
Nickon 25 Jun 2008 at 1:32 pm 84It’s nice to finally put a name to a name, John. I started reading Libertas a month or so after it started up, and I have to say it was a real delight when you took over duties. I don’t read many blogs, but I check out yours everyday.
Here’s hoping we hear the name John Nolte more often in the future, apart from your website. Good luck, and keep us posted about your film’s distribution.
Gracieon 25 Jun 2008 at 1:43 pm 85Way to go, but you’ll always be ‘Harry’ to me!
JohnFNWayneon 25 Jun 2008 at 1:49 pm 86This whole time, I thought you were Clint Eastwood.
hairryon 25 Jun 2008 at 1:54 pm 87Really cool you letting us know who you are! Now where’s that louse that bashed the Duke a couple weeks ago! Lemme at im!
Gina Dalfonzoon 25 Jun 2008 at 2:05 pm 88Holy cow!!! You’re the guy whose “Beautiful Loser” blog I’ve been commenting on for the past couple of years! (Whose reiterated “I don’t think it’s going to be released in theaters” I’ve been stewing over.) It’s you! Wow, this is weird. And cool. I feel like Christine after ripping the Phantom’s mask off. Except you’re not nearly that ugly.
Well, it’s nice to finally know you in all your guises . . . or are there even more?
HARRY HERE: When I checked out your webpage I saw LIBERTAS listed there and thought about telling you. But, welcome.
John Wrighton 25 Jun 2008 at 2:30 pm 89Mr. Nolte, does this mean you can finally marry Lois Lane? Or will this interfere with your ability as a crime fighter?
In any case, Dalton Trumbo called and said he has turned your name over the FBI. Alas, the price of coming out of the Republican Closet.
Keep on giving ‘em hell, Harry. You’ll always be Harry to me: I don’t call Cyd Charise by her name either –Tula Ellice Finklea
Glennon 25 Jun 2008 at 5:09 pm 90Harry! You collected for M&M, eh? I used to hear a lot about them when I was a collector in Northern Virginia for about seven years during the 90’s. Bill collecting can be addictive. I too had a strange nack for it. I was the numero uno third-party collector for Duron Paints & Wallcoverings. I also collected my share of NSF checks and bad leases for Charles E. Smith. Bill collection: what a way to learn about human nature.
You’re out. Okay, so we all know what we should do - there’s no further barriers to some face-time between us fledging conservative writers who live around LA/OC. I volunteer my place in Marina del Rey - or it could be anyhwere - a restaurant, etc. Takers?
Stephanieon 25 Jun 2008 at 5:12 pm 91Why can’t you guys live in Florida?
JAB710on 25 Jun 2008 at 5:15 pm 92I would not be advertising the fact that you are from Milwaukee. Retain the handler and keep doing a good job. Now get back to posting real stuff.
Stephanieon 25 Jun 2008 at 5:18 pm 93Whats wrong with Milwaukee? Asks the testy blonde from La Crosse Wisconsin.
Kendamaon 25 Jun 2008 at 6:19 pm 94It’s Kendama from the Libertas forums. Big fan of yours, DH! I’ve never seen Libertas under Apuzzo and Murty, but you can be certain I’ll add this blog to may daily websurfing routine.
Mrs. Righton 26 Jun 2008 at 7:08 am 95Thank you for coming out, sir. It’s wonderful to meet you!! Just keep doing what you’re doing.
Chevy Coppolaon 26 Jun 2008 at 5:23 pm 96Harry…it’s great to find out you came out and now that you did you are ready for Ebert & Roper’s show…CNN…etc. Would have been tough to blackscreen your face on talk shows. By the way www.libertyfilmfestival is not a great web url anyway. I almost told you at lunch. Not good for marketing anything other than a festival.

Ed Driscoll.comon 28 Jun 2008 at 10:18 pm 97Coming Soon: Will Canada Sue Will Smith?…
John Nolte, the artist formerly known as Dirty Harry, notes that at least one critic is taking offense at the word “homo” being used by Will Smith’s eponymous character in the upcoming summer blockbuster Hancock. Fortunately for the net worths……
Kateon 02 Oct 2008 at 6:41 pm 98WTG big brother! I’m so proud to be your sister and to say I, too, am from Milwaukee, WI. What the hell is wrong with Milwaukee? I had a great childhood there. Where else could I have gone dumpster diving at the phone company, played tag on the roof tops of the local stores, and paid $1.50 for a ham sandwich and small bowl of orange sherbet for lunch? You keep keepin’ on and I’ll keep checking to see how famous you are! Say hi to the wife.
