Barracuda Vs. The Little Messiah = Thrashing

Posted by Dirty Harry on Friday, September 5th, 2008

Like I said yesterday, Barry saying on O’Reilly yesterday that “no one” anticipated the success of the surge was the kind of slip money can’t buy.

McCain is on fire here.

Change is in the air. Oops, did I say “change?”

Pardon the Mathews moment (who’s still crapping his pants now, by the way), but goosebumps just went up the arms upon hearing the “USA!!!” chant right before the minute mark.

Def Leppard, the Crue and Westerberg are making their best music since the 80s and damned if it ain’t startin’ to feel like Reagan’s ghost is proudly walkin’ the streets again. Now where’s a Krusty Burger so I can scratch off another winner?

have never seen mccain like this. he has always looked and talked more like he is chasing the kids off his lawn.

obie-one will finally have the opportunity to build up that resume. maybe he can ride shotgun with bill clinton on globetrotting lecture tours

Ahhh, forgot he was using “Right Now.” I know Eddie’s gotta be pissed (which means Alex’ll have to fall in line, too), but Sammy’s gotta be grinnin’! Mikey’s probably too drunk to care either way.

I really do love her. And it is a thing of beauty to see “The One” curb stomped with his “Change.” I don’t think the mark will ever go away, but if he puts some ice on that, at least he can keep the swelling down.

I’m starting to think that if the dems continue to hurl sexist criticisms at her, the crowds at these evens should start chanting “Hey Obama! You just got beat down by a giirrrrlll!!!”

Look how happy the maverick is looking these days. Time of your life, kid!

Thank you for using the term “curb-stomped,” which I intend to borrow.

I think it is safe to say that not even McCain knew she was going to be this dynamic. WOW! WOW! WOW!

What would have happened if she had run in the primaries?

The great news is that McCain had more viewers than Obama and the local news people were more impressed with the speech more than I was.

The best story I heard was one guy’s wife, an independent that hadn’t known much of McCain’s story, said after watching his video last night said ‘it was like Albert Pujols hitting off a little league pitcher.

Sarah Palin scares the Democrats s**tless!

    Beware The Thrilla From Wasilla!

Down Goes Obama! Down Goes Biden! Give her the belt!

    “Beware The Thrilla From Wasilla!”

    Excellent. :)

Ah, fate! Mac inadvertantly (or not) has set off a new huge cultural battle: a new populist star/underdog vs. the corrupt establishment elitists. Who do you think most “average” folks relate to? Some elitist who went to Harvard and was crowned by them months ago, or a plain-spoken no-nonsense mom WHO IS ONE OF US? This is so fun. God, I love this country!

Barack vs. Sarah, indeed–I thought this was supposed to be Barack vs. McCain! Class warfare anyone?

Guys lets channel the enthusiasm to volunteer and get more people involved and excited. We have some momentum but don’t make me play the football coach seeing my kids getting TOO high. One day at a time. 60 days is a long haul.

I’m surprised Obama didn’t ask Bill about his views on teenage pregnancy…

What’s so funny is that right after he picked her, all the lib pundits (and I know this was a DNC talking point handed out) kept pointing to how this shows His judgment, His decision, HIS choice in choosing her. They said that in hoping it would all turn out to be a fiasco and they could totally pin him on it.

Now that it turns out she could very well be his ticket to victory, it’s looking like well, yeah, it’s HIS judgment, decision, and choice, and by golly it turned out to be (like the surge) a HUGE success.

Tee Hee. Isn’t this fun?! :)
