MTV Awards Trash Governor Sarah Palin’s Family

Lowlife
A friend of mine emailed about this, Michelle Malkin received more details:
I know a few people at Viacom and I tuned in to see the MTV music awards tonight. I was disgusted and appalled when the British host Russell Brand started begging America to vote for Barack Obama. Like his opinion matters. He’s not even a citizen. What’s worse is that he attacked Sarah Palin’s pregnant daughter. He made a snide joke that her baby was not a boy or a girl, but a P.R. stunt.
Palin Derangement Syndrome stops being funny when it hits the kids. Yeah, this stuff helps us, but it’s not worth it.
Doesn’t MTV care that this young woman’s probably watching, and if not her, all her friends.
I may go to hell, but I’ll have better accommodations than these degenerates.

Stephanieon 07 Sep 2008 at 8:40 pm 1Great I am about to hit the rack and you post that picture. Can we say NIGHTMARE! Thanks DH!
Kiton 07 Sep 2008 at 8:41 pm 2How were the guy’s teeth?
But I won’t boycott MTV.
Can’t boycott what I don’t watch.
Blackiswhite, Imperial Agent Provocateuron 07 Sep 2008 at 8:43 pm 3Yeah. I’m likely to take voting advice from someone who looks like he has decided to quite showering or shaving.
Johnny Ed's Babyon 07 Sep 2008 at 8:50 pm 4Damn, there goes the wacked-out foreigner vote.
Stephanieon 07 Sep 2008 at 8:51 pm 5Thanks dh…that picture is awesome since I am going to bed. Nightmare making……..ewwwwwwwww
Carolynon 07 Sep 2008 at 8:52 pm 6Think of the positive, Stephanie.
Sarah’s found a place to shove her caribou antlers.
Stephanieon 07 Sep 2008 at 8:53 pm 7Honey you never desicrate your Trophys…I know this……
JohnLockeon 07 Sep 2008 at 8:54 pm 8Y’know, I think we need to start taking advantage of the “P” in Palin’s name and refer to this not as PDS, but PMS: Palin Madness Syndrome.
Although it’s kind of hard to threaten someone’s masculinity when they had none to begin with.
Carolynon 07 Sep 2008 at 8:55 pm 9Okay, then how about a brand new place to set your bear traps?
Works for me.
Carolynon 07 Sep 2008 at 8:56 pm 10Okay, Stephanie, then how about a brand new place to set your bear traps?
Works for me.
Carolynon 07 Sep 2008 at 8:58 pm 11Shoot! I tried to edit. Harry, I love your site. But would it be possible to have an ‘edit’ button for my comments so they finally come out as breathtakingly eloquent as I am in real life?
If I stumble any worse, people will think I’m the junior Senator from Illinois.
trzupron 07 Sep 2008 at 9:01 pm 12“Damn, there goes the wacked-out foreigner vote.”
And we have already lost the community organizer vote! Woe is us! Woe is us! Will the “served in state/local government, but have made no discernable contribution to either” vote be the next to go? I shudder to think. SHUDDER, I tell you!
trzupron 07 Sep 2008 at 9:04 pm 13Carolyn,
I may be in the minority here (although I seriously doubt it), but I very much doubt that anything you would post - however many times you post it - would cause anybody this side of abe to love you any less. You rock babe.
Cheers,
Rich
Rusty Jameson 07 Sep 2008 at 9:05 pm 14The MTV Music awards? So what?
Zundfolgeon 07 Sep 2008 at 9:09 pm 15There’s music on MTV?
Carolynon 07 Sep 2008 at 9:11 pm 16Awwww, trzupr! I am blushing so bad my face could heat popcorn.
You’re so darned sweet!
Scuffleon 07 Sep 2008 at 9:26 pm 17At the risk of agreeing with the herd here, I’ve got to say this: Russell Brand is an untalented prick, and the fact that he has a career of any description shames us all. That he’s had a pop at the Littler Messiah’s daughter is neither here nor there, the real issue here is how he’s managing to get work and international exposure. He’s worse than Ricky Gervaise, which is really saying something. I apologise on behalf of my countrymen for inflicting such mediocrity on the world.
JBon 07 Sep 2008 at 9:29 pm 18Didn’t they get the memo from deity? Palin shut him the f*ck up.
JBon 07 Sep 2008 at 9:29 pm 19deity=Diddy
Father Caligarion 07 Sep 2008 at 9:43 pm 20What part of “gun-toting” doesn’t he understand?
Thanks, Russell. This might be good for another couple of points for McCain.
Enderon 07 Sep 2008 at 9:43 pm 21I’ll just add him to the swiftly growing list of @$$hole actors whose movies I will never watch. Which is a shame. Forgetting Sarah Marshall looks funny and will probably be on HBO soon.
And this better be a good season of Entourage or HBO gets the boot, too.
Carloson 07 Sep 2008 at 9:46 pm 22Damn, there goes the wacked-out foreigner vote.
He certainly looks like an Obama supporter.
Zundfolgeon 07 Sep 2008 at 10:10 pm 23According to this he already lost the “wacked-out foreigner vote”

Leslie Bateson 07 Sep 2008 at 10:59 pm 24Dude, there won’t be any room for you in Hell with these bozoids going in.
And I have to recommend that this bozoid in particular receive some special instruction in public manners by a Large Sicilian Gentlemen from New Jersey.
EPorvaznikon 07 Sep 2008 at 11:31 pm 25It’s comments like that useless British idiot’s (and thank you, Scuffle, for your apology
)that make me very glad I decided to write my first column for Rufus and Floyd’s space instead of doing a running diary of the awards. Fun-time campaign song suggestions for both sides surfacing tomorrow…
Tomon 08 Sep 2008 at 12:05 am 26How much does gas cost in the U.K.?
Or any other socialist country?
How’s universal health care working out?
Jillon 08 Sep 2008 at 12:49 am 27This is the kind of thing that just makes me want McCain to win all the more so I can go to bed at night knowing these sick pigs are miserable. To think we care what some idiot from another freakin country wants us to do in our own damn election just ticks me off. Another guy who continually puts in his two cents worth at award shows & concerts is Coldplay’s Chris Martin, although I admit in a much less raunchy way.
I can’t wait for the liberal press overseas to do yet another front page story post election night such as “How Can 60 Million People Be So Dumb?” as the Daily Mail in London did 4 years ago when Bush won again.
It makes you proud just knowing you’re on the complete opposite side of the political spectrum from these nuts.
K UKon 08 Sep 2008 at 5:16 am 28Maybe you should be concentrating on the fact that the entire world believes you have a president that can only count to twenty with his socks off. That the world is in fear of having one of the most powerful armies in the world being controlled by a country that does not seem to understand the nature of the world and has little regard for its citizens. That does not see anything wrong with the distorted wealth and poverty that exists. That having more guns than people can lead to gun crime/homicide and that seeing naked breasts is less acceptable than seeing a dead body or car crash.
Brand is merely laughing at the absurdity and raising awareness of what seems to have passed many of the above by.
JamesTon 08 Sep 2008 at 5:25 am 29Brand is one of the new ‘breed’ of British comedians, who unfortunetely are simply imitating the worst of American ’shock’ comedy. There was a time when I sought out British comedy because it was a breath of fresh air from the stupidity American comedy had sunk to. Now it looks no different from American comedy.
I see on the British comedy horizon no new John Cleese, John Inman, Rowan Atkinson, Hugh Laurie, or Stephen Fry. Just idiots like this.
Ratherreadon 08 Sep 2008 at 5:36 am 30K-UK, I really don’t care that the rest of the world (that is the elites) think that Mr. Bush is dumb. Most sensible people who are not afflicted with BDS know he is an intelligent man.
Now about that Prince Charles fellow…….
Kiton 08 Sep 2008 at 5:52 am 31“Damn, there goes the wacked-out foreigner vote.”
“There’s music on MTV?”
The good ones just keep on coming.
Stickwick Staperson 08 Sep 2008 at 5:56 am 32Right, K. You represent the type of person who seems to “care” an awful lot, but is more comfortable with dictators who kill their own citizens, deny fundamental rights to women and gays, and perpetuate starvation-level poverty while they live in opulence, than you are with a civilized Western government that falls short of perfection. Give me a break.
Just so you know, there are an estimated 200 million guns in the U.S., and just over 300 million people. Any government that doesn’t trust me with a gun certainly doesn’t deserve my trust. I mean, doesn’t it make you worry even a little bit when a very powerful entity has a vested interest in keeping you defenseless? But, please, do tell us how those soaring crime levels are going in the UK. And, I must be reading wrong, because I keep seeing these news articles about shootings happening over there, even though there aren’t any guns.
Stephanieon 08 Sep 2008 at 6:04 am 33Oh Jesus K UK why don’t you go back to your Chelsea hidey hole and STAY THERE! We don’t need your advice and all your doing is making us all more likely to work our asses off to get McCain elected.
KUK I like Brits. I have good friends who are British but you come off like a real assjack. Little man no Americans give a rats ass what YOU OR SOME OTHER ASS IN EUROTRASH HELL THINK! GET IT? And that is what you are Eurotrash. Or Britrash.
Stephanieon 08 Sep 2008 at 6:05 am 34This foaming at the mouth socialist party member isn’t worth even considering. Since the Torys seem to be on the verge of coming back to prominience why would anyone care about some shithead from a London back ally thinks. I know I don’t.
JDespiritoon 08 Sep 2008 at 6:37 am 35Lame. I’ll stick to my copies of Black Adder and Father Ted.
Plissken79on 08 Sep 2008 at 6:46 am 36MTV has been a pathetic joke for a long time, its numerous “award” shows in particular, so none of this can be a surprise. It looks like even many in audience were not exactly pleased with Brand’s rants.
Regardless, just look at photos of Brand from the show. Where did they find this guy? Under a bridge?
As for K in UK, he is a typical European liberal who thinks we speaks for the rest of the world in his dislike of America, or at least the Republican party. The same type of European who insists on the EU having numerous elections in order to push through measures that were rejected by European voters. The same type of European who condemns America for liberating countries from tyranny such as Iraq or Afghanistan but did nothing but twiddle their thumbs in the 1990s as Yugoslavia ripped itself apart and genocide returned to the European continent after all the pathetic calls of “never again” among the European left after 1945.
Having lived in Europe and Russia extensively, I can safely say the views of the rest world regarding American and even the Republican party are a mixed bag, and not uniform. The public diplomacy of the Bush administration of course could have been better, but Western Europeans in particular have been excellent since 1945 of hypocritcally condemning America while benefitting from American protection, regardless of whether a Republican or a Democrat is in the White House
Stephanieon 08 Sep 2008 at 6:48 am 37Eh Eurotrash is Eurotrash. It never ceased to amaze me the ignorance the Germans I knew had of America and these were Christian Democrats. As in the German version of the GOP. Amazing.

Linda Jacksonon 08 Sep 2008 at 7:28 am 40This is all the more reason not to watch that show again. I hope even more that she wins the election since the democrats fans are going to such great lengths to trash her.
It will back fire on them.

How come our side never runs screaming into Democrat conventions to disturb the nominee’s speech? It’s like a genetic defect, or something. And don’t these idiots remember the effect this had on John Kerry? I thought they were supposed to be the intellectuals? More here. […]
Father Caligarion 08 Sep 2008 at 7:43 am 42To K in the UK,
“When President Bush traveled to sub-Sahara Africa in February he was greeted by large and tumultuous crowds of admirers — which mystified many of his critics, who believe that the animosity toward his administration abroad is universal. But polling data from the Pew Foundation shows something different: Approval ratings for the United States exceed 80 percent in many African countries, some with large Muslim populations. In Darfur, many families name their newborn sons George Bush.”
The entire article here.
Ken Bendoron 08 Sep 2008 at 8:57 am 43Tom Green called, he wants his failure of an act back…funny how an overrated sex addict(!?!?) can say EVERYONE else on the show was wonderful (when most of them were anything but), INCLUDING the plague known as Heidi and Spencer (talk about retarted cowboys) ;(, except for those who at least haven’t made total jackasses of themselves in public (I’m going under the assumption none of the Jonases have dressed as Osama bin Laden THE DAY AFTER 9/11, or at any time)…

NOBAMAon 13 Sep 2008 at 1:55 pm 45obama is a clueless joke. hollywood is just as clueless as obama. Its time we as Americans put certain political parties in there place. Like out of office. I wish I would’ve been on the front row of the MTV music awards. You’d of seen comedian get the funny knocked right on his ass. I wish I was a billionare. I’d start my own networks and actually tell the truth. I do believe in this day and age that it would put the rest of idiots out of business…..
