Sweet Fancy Moses! Alert: Ayers and ACORN Connected?

Posted by Dirty Harry on Thursday, October 16th, 2008

Greta Van Susteren thinks there’s something afoot – something akin to The Weather Undergound STEALING THE ELECTION:

1. The Secretary of State of Ohio Jennifer Brunner filed a request in the Supreme Court relating to the underlying claim in her state that there has been voter registration fraud…with ties to the work of ACORN in registering voters.

2.  A group — the Service Employees International Union [SEIU] — filed an amicus brief in the United States Supreme Court asking the Supreme Court to rule with the Secretary of State of Ohio (and essentially asking for a ruling that would be favorable to ACORN in that it would “call off the dogs.”)

3.  I thought it curious that SEIU would file an amicus brief for Brunner and did some quick research …and now I need more indepth research (which is where YOU come in.)  According to my quick research..the same person who started ACORN, started SIEU.  His name is Wade Rathke. So then I wondered, who is Wade Rathke?

4.  I did some really quick research and learned that Rathke was a member of the anti war group SDS. This is where YOU come in again.  If you know 60’s history, you know that the Weather Underground was an offshoot of SDS.  There was some disagreement in the late 60’s and members of the SDS - Bill Ayers and his wife - left and formed/ joined the Weather Underground.

Pardon me while I say Zoinks.

Just your normal everyday community organizers. Bombs, ballots… Whatever.

Oh, these next 19 days are gonna be a hoot.

And if that doesn’t make you angry enough, did you know that $31 million of OUR tax dollars have gone to ACORN to steal this election *possibly* for The Weather Undergound?

That’s $31 million on top of the $832,000 Bill Ayers’ Friend gave them to steal the election *possibly* for The Weather Underground.

This is officially now a two Sweet Fancy Moses! alert.

Radical leftist cows may be of different colors, but they all yield the same Marxist milk.

i see that Joe the plumber is out of work. He got the Robert Bork for the Layman treatment.

Its so much simpler to turn the jackals loose instead of waiting for the IRS. and so much more effective. no survivors.

The man should be locked up at Supermax, not roaming around as a “respectable” college professor.

Come on Greta, don’t let us down.

  8. Jack Marinoon 16 Oct 2008 at 6:25 pm 8

I guess old bomber thrower Ayers could end up in jail for voter fraud and trying to fix a federal election. The FBI is now all over every Acorn HQ.

The Sec of State in Ohio admitted she had over 250,000 registrations and now the supreme court wants her to verity them by tomorrow.

Obama has lost this race, Americans don’t like when a candidate is connected to this massive voter fraud to get himself elected. The Joe the Plumber exposed this Marxist socialist tax extortionist the other day.

Exactly Jack. Onward to victory! I heard Zeus is planning a big party for election night. What a putz! How much hubris can the man have? You know if you count your chickens before they hatch you get egg in your face.
And Mac was hilarious tonight at the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Dinner. Interesting comments to Bill and Hillary. Interesting.

And the lefty blogs go ape over Todd Palin belonging to the AIP. And of course CNN compares the AIP to Tim McVeigh.

But friggin’ Ayers and other radicals reading their manifestos to Obama while he sits at their feet and soaks it all in.

But that’s okie dokie with the people that own the newspapers. They have to pay all those reporters looking for some more tanning beds in Alaska.

Rathke is fooking ground zero of radical, commie causes. All this from the first couple of google finds.

This is off his home page at http://www.waderathke.com/ :
    ACORN
    Local 100
    SEIU
    Site Fighters
    Tides
    Organizers’ Forum
    Social Policy
    WARN

    Here’s from http://www.discoverthenetworks.org

    * Founder and Chief Organizer of the radical cult ACORN, a nationwide activist network engaged in “community organizing” and in voter mobilization drives for George Soros’ Shadow Party
    * Former draft-resistance activist for the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS)
    * Former activist in the National Welfare Reform Organization (NWRO) and protegé of its founder George A. Wiley
    * Co-founder of the Tides Foundation, along with Drummond Pike. Currently serves as Board Chairman of the Tides Center and member of the Tides Foundation Board of Directors
    * Founded Local 100 of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) in New Orleans and heads it to this day. Rathke is president and co-founder of SEIU’s Southern Conference and a member of SEIU’s national executive board. He also helped launch the United Labor Union (ULU), which organizes low-skill service workers.
    * Rathke chairs the AFL-CIO’s Organizers Forum and formerly served as Secretary-Treasurer of the Greater New Orleans AFL-CIO.

Wow, another bullshit conspiracy theory without any evidence behind it! It’s charming how you guys are rushing to pre-emptively portray the first black president as an illegitimate thief. Not surprising, though, considering the tearful goodbye this site gave to Jesse Helms.

HARRY HERE: Yeah, it’s cuz he’s black. And now that you’ve busted and exposed us we’ll stop

  14. Jack Marinoon 16 Oct 2008 at 7:20 pm 14

There were 57 million people that voted for Bush in 2004. Since then the DemoRATS have called Bush a Nazi, Hitler, a war criminal, Sen Boxer wants to bring Bush to trial. Stone’s movie is coming out before the election and it pisses all over the Bush family. Obama is up to his big ears in voter fraud, the FBI is all over Acorn, Ayers set this whole thing up, he ran 100 million to his schools to turn out little radicals. Ayers will be put in jail eventually. Joe the plumber has exposed Obama, the moment Obama talked to him and Obama was expecting to hear a guy whine about how life is so bad in America.

As I have been saying all along the 57 million will vote for McCain just to get back at the media for all the insults they threw at Bush, the troops, and all the vile things we had to put up with during the Bush years.

Payback is going to be wonderful

  16. johnmark7on 16 Oct 2008 at 7:35 pm 16

This article at American Thinker (I’m an occasional contributor on the arts) connects all the dots and will scare the crap out of you.

    http://www.americanthinker.com/2008/09/barack_obama_and_the_strategy.html

You will need a strong stomach to bear the stench of an evil program going back to the 60’s to wreck this country and bring on financial collapse. It’s called the Cloward-Piven Strategy derived from Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals. that Horowitz describes as a means of overwhelming the bureaucracy with increasing and permanent demands.

It describes how the housing bubble was created deliberately and craftily to do exactly what it did - massively fail.

Obama is part and parcel of this program to ruin the country. This is a must read.

You cannot begin to imagine how much these people hate you and America. Their commitment to evil over so many decades is astonishing, and their long march into every hall of power simply boggles the mind. I though the Left was pretty evil, but I had no idea the scope of their accomplishments in congress and politics.

  17. johnmark7on 16 Oct 2008 at 7:48 pm 17

Also, it puts the media cover up on Obama in a new light. The depth of their moral depravity and the span and scope of their useful idiots is staggering.

I’m not a conspiracy guy, and the idea of a bunch of a-hole lefties plotting our ruin for decades seems far fetched, but these folks are not Code Pink crazies or the loons on the street.

Ever wonder how Ayers could get his hands on 150 million dollars to use Obama to farm out all that money to their friends? How is it possible for a domestic terrorist get 50 million alone from conservative Walter Annenberg? But he did and got even more matching funds to dole out to build a machine for Obama.

ACORN is getting billions from us to use against us.

In 1960, 150,000 people were on welfare (a temporary assist at the time.) in New York City. By 1970, Cloward and Piven had organized a little and NYC had 1.5 million people on welfare permanently. For every two non-public employees, there was one welfare recipient. In 1975, NYC went bankrupt.

These people know what their doing. They know how the financial markets work and that if you remove risk from a high risk business like mortgages by promising government support, then the bankers would go nuts investing in high risk (but no risk) loans.

You must read the article. It spells it all out fact by fact.

  18. Major Grahamon 16 Oct 2008 at 7:53 pm 18

    Stephanie,

Your are correct - Mac was hilarious. He absolutely deconstructed obambi at every level. Several of the camera shots of the lil’ messiah showed him trying to act as if he was enjoying it when he clearly was not. Fox showed the whole thing on H&C and again on Greta.

  19. Stephanieon 16 Oct 2008 at 7:57 pm 19

I know I watched it on HnC…Hillary was laughing her ass off. Something is going on. Mac honored both her and Bill. Obama never mentioned HER ONCE! that I saw.

  20. johnmark7on 16 Oct 2008 at 8:06 pm 20

BTW, Ayers and wife have a new book coming out next year - Race Course Against White Supremacy.

“White supremacy and its troubling endurance in American life is debated in these personal essays by two veteran political activists. Arguing that white supremacy has been the dominant political system in the United States since its earliest days—and that it is still very much with us—the discussion points to unexamined bigotry in the criminal justice system, election processes, war policy, and education.”

    http://www.amazon.com/Race-Course-Against-White-Supremacy/dp/088378291X/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1224212392&sr=1-14

What’s hilarious is that the movers and shakers of the rich Left are what? Almost all white. And who does the community organizing and rabble rousing of the little black and brown people? Not many whites.

Next up for Ayers, a book about Japanese Supremacy in Japan.

Also, ACORN has 400,000 members in 1200 local groups. That’s a lot of people when you need a rent-a-mob.

  22. David123456on 16 Oct 2008 at 8:48 pm 22

Cmon guys. Be fair. Barack Obama was hilarious too. It almost made me like him a little bit and then I realized it was just lipstick on a pig.

  23. The best part is my tax dollars will CONTINUE to go to them as they fight their way through the court system. Talk about insult to injury.

    I’m linking this, btw.

  24. Glennon 16 Oct 2008 at 9:17 pm 24

My great hope is that I am totally and uterly wrong and Jack is absolutely correct. On Nov 5 I want to be able to take in all the headlines about McCain’s victory and have to eat all my words. Yum yum.

But I doubt that will happen. And if Mac wins, it will NOT be because of Ayers or ACORN. An 11th-hour victory for Mac must be built on a straightforward message tailored for independents, not partisan republicans.

Breaking news about Ayers and ACORN makes us feel better - but our goal must be to win, not to make ourselves feel better.

Obama has a simple, repeatable message aimed at independents: let’s change our course and junk the failed policies of the incumbent party. To counter that, Mac has to come up with an equally powerful (and simple) message. It has to be centered on the economy, and it has to be aimed at independents. Nothing else will turn things around.

This week I am in Phoenix on business. I met two new people (both white-collar workers but not professional or wealthy) who told me the same thing: “I voted for Bush twice and I regret it. I’m voting for Obama next month.” Both were surprised to see the McCain button on my laptop bag (that’s what opened the conversation). As they saw it, no one has ever come up with a single good reason NOT to vote for Obama. They said that if he loses, it would HAVE to be due to racism.

Both of them had heard of Ayers and ACORN and they understood the basic story. Did it affect their decision? Not at all. They do not care.

I used to belong to SEIU Local 790 in San Francisco in the 80s, just another low-level employee in the union. I had no idea Wade Rathke of SDS was the founder (no internets back then to research). How did all these 60s radicals burrow into such high-paying, influential positions? Believe me, the union dues were high–a huge slush fund for leftist causes and politicians. I hated the union because you had no choice but to belong if you wanted to keep your job.

It’s ironic that McCain-Feingold was passed in large part to fight the huge contributions (hundreds of millions) given to the Democratic Party by the unions every election. Now there’s even more money flooding the election process by filthy rich “capitalists” and robber barons like Soros. It’s also ironic that marxists like Ayers and Rathke have become filthy rich themselves by taking foundation and union money from hard-working union members and taxpayers. They’ve reached the pinnacle of money, power and influence mostly through the Democratic Party, which was sold to the highest bidder. Perhaps the real criminal organization is the Democratic Party. America, what a country!

  27. promon 17 Oct 2008 at 12:39 am 27

As the Syriana guys would say: Everything is Connected.

It’s good to throw back the crap at them they having been throwing at us all these years.

Let’s hope we can connect dots before its too late. Even Obama can’t be as slippery as he thinks he is. There must be a big scandal lurking somewhere.

  28. Leaning Straight Upon 17 Oct 2008 at 2:32 am 28

    The real problems with Ayers…

The subject of William Ayers has been one of great debate, with a lot of diverse opinions weighing in.
To some, he will always be a traitor.  An unrepentant terrorist and rebel who formally declared war on his country, who bombed his own country, who …

  29. Buck Turgidsonon 17 Oct 2008 at 5:29 am 29

Obama was not hilarious, and Steff and I aren’t the only ones who think that. The crowd laughed uproriously at McCain’s every punchline. A few people occasionally laughed with enthusiasm at Obama, but mostly what he got was polite “ha ha’s.” It wasn’t so much that his lines were unfunny. Delivered by someone else they might have been okay. It’s that he has no comic timing, because he is too self-serious.

  30. Jimmieon 17 Oct 2008 at 5:31 am 30

Hey, you want a bit better than that, do a quick read at a post I wrote about a week ago now.

The guy who founded ACORN was a protege of the guy who founded another group that nearly bankrupt New York City back in the 1970s. They, and Ayers, were adherents of a pair of radical professors who had an interesting strategy. The upshot of the strategy is that if you flood government systems with enough “business”, you can cause it to malfunction. When it does, you then claim that the system has failed and demand that it be changed to your liking.

If that doesn’t describe what ACORN has been doing, I don’t know what does.

johnmark7 #16: Dot connection in progress.

Amazing research in that article. Question is, will all this information have the nationwide exposure it will take to nudge the unconvinced?

The sleepwalkers are shuffling toward the abysss. Where the hell is the bullhorn?

  33. Growltigeron 17 Oct 2008 at 7:43 am 33

Why shouldn’t the Sec State Ohio blatantly try to steal an election. It worked for Christine Gregoire in Washington State, didn’t it?

I’m sorry, but we the people have been complacent while these thugs and terrorists gradually took over the bureaucracy, media, education and using them now the House, Senate and soon the presidency and judiciary. We have no one to blame but ourselves. We should have voted with the only weapon we have — our money. We should have boycotted any college that hired an unrepentant terrorist as a professor. But, oh no, we sent OUR conservative/moderate kids to those universities. We buy products that advertise on biased media. We subscribe to Time and Newsweek (Newspeak), take the local left wing rag so their editors can disparage us in print.

I’ve been wondering about SEICU. It’s been running some despicable ads against a local politician running for the House in my area. I wondered who the hell these people were. Thanks, Harry. Now I know.

Regarding the Sixties. I was there. My roommate’s father, whom we thought was a nutcase, used to tell us weeks ahead of time where the next “student protest” was going to be. How’d he know? He subscribed to “The Communist Worker”.

  34. Dirty Harry's Momon 17 Oct 2008 at 8:29 am 34

Well, dear, if any group knows all about stealing elections it would be election commissioners (remember the lovely lady in Florida?) who are Republicans. The Obama landslide to come will make these little lawbreakers (not ACORN) looks like the nasty little criminals they are.

  35. rrpjron 17 Oct 2008 at 8:51 am 35

Actually, Rick, there is more concrete evidence in this modest thread implicating Barack Obama in a larger skein of subversive interests than can be found in the total tonnage of Washington Post, New York Times, CNN, and mainstream echo chamber media stories implicating George Bush to lies and malfeasances they’ve alleged over eight years.

There is already more actionable information linking Barack Obama to William Ayers and a conspiracy to subvert educational policy in Chicago, and linking Barack Obama to ACORN and its ongoing campaign of voter fraud, than any evidence connecting either George Bush or Karl Rove to the “Plame affair” (whatever that was, exactly) in 24 NY Times front page stories. That’s just one example, of course.

That you refuse to see it, or the media refuses to sanctify it, doesn’t make it untrue.

Thanks Johnmark for the link. I’d forgotten the names of Cloward and Piven. Do you know the only politician in America to invoke those names? Rudy Guiliani. What happened to Rudy?

I grew up on the hard left, the Chomsky left. I must confess I even toted his turgid tomes along the Charles River myself. I have two Marxist siblings (the wealthier one is the most anti-American — surprise!). So none of this surprises me. I always knew “the plan.” I just never thought they could pull it off. I underestimated them - not their hate and determination — but their abilities. America is in the deepest trouble of its history. This is an enemy like none we’ve ever faced. It is turning our very system against us. And few of us can even name it. Fewer still — if any — have the will to call it out.

  36. Zundfolgeon 17 Oct 2008 at 9:09 am 36

After reading the piece johnmark7 linked, I’m more and more convinced that the Marxists are just too deeply entrenched in the system. They’re too well funded by radicals like Soros and all the tons of money in charitable trusts (ironically set up by staunchly conservative Republican businessmen and captains of industry).

Biggest problem is that when you show the average person these connections either their eyes glaze over and they don’t comprehend what you’re saying or why its important, or they look at you like you just told them the Illuminati and Space Aliens are plotting to rob them of their precious bodily fluids.

More and more I’m convinced that even if we defeat Obama now, the tide of Marxism is just too great to be defeated within the system. At some point civil war is going to be necessary. Even then I doubt it will work since this is a global systemic cancer, not just a US one … and civil war also opens the significant possibility that “our” side will be taken over by a strongman who won’t relinquish his power when the battle is over (if not for the honor and idealism of George Washington, we would have likely traded King George of England with King George of Virginia).

Honestly the only way we’re going to avoid a bloodless Marxist Revolution or outright civil war is if we can take control of the media back from the Marxists and Alinskyites.

Sorry for the doom and gloom folks, but I warned y’all I’m a pessimistic bastard :p

  37. Zundfolgeon 17 Oct 2008 at 9:21 am 37

Ya know, winning the cold war was our biggest mistake.

Its easier to make the case that Marxist are evil when there’s a whole mess of them with nukes pointed at us.

  38. Mike Kriskeyon 17 Oct 2008 at 9:41 am 38

Well, dear, if any group knows all about stealing elections it would be election commissioners (remember the lovely lady in Florida?) who are Republicans. The Obama landslide to come will make these little lawbreakers (not ACORN) looks like the nasty little criminals they are.

Ma’am, you don’t know what you’re talking about.

Katherine Harris was torn to shreds for following the law, because the law did not favor Al Gore. In other words, Al Gore wanted to disregard the law. That’s what “criminals” do, you know?

I hope that clears things up for you, dear.

  39. Mike Kriskeyon 17 Oct 2008 at 9:43 am 39

    Dirty Harry’s Mom–

I’m assuming you meant Katherine Harris, even though you called her an “election commissioner.” Katherine Harris was actually Florida’s Secretary of State.

  40. A Conservative Teacheron 17 Oct 2008 at 9:52 am 40

Zoinks indeed! As I recorded on my blog, my former students have noted ACORN crawling through every college campus, spreading lies, fraud, and Obama buttons, but I had no idea there was a connection to Ayers in all of this? Do you think there there is something common to this- like a single guy (Obama), who is both pro-communism and pro-terrorist? Or maybe a thugs stick together mentality? I met Ayers before (documented on my blog)- he’s an unrepetent terrorist- who also wants young people to mindlessly vote liberal Democrat. That’s a connection!

  41. Conan O'Lenomanon 17 Oct 2008 at 11:10 am 41

The smartest thing the commies have ever done is to convince a lot of Americans that the red menace doesn’t really exist and smear Joe McCarthy as a paranoid nutcase. He was right on the money all along. We should have instituted loyalty oaths as a precondition for working in any profession dealing with public education or influence. It’s not too late; after the second civil war it should be made a constitutional amendment.

  42. Tom Pooleon 17 Oct 2008 at 11:35 am 42

I didn’t think there were any “conservative teachers” left but nice that one survives. Sure there is a connection. Obama is using ACORN to steal the election in such a manner he can never be called on it. In the meantime Ayers and his Weather Underground (you don’t really think they quit) are busy getting ready for the riots which they will start should he not be elected or IF the McCain group call for recounts anywhere. They tipped their hand when a ding a ling writing in Philadelphia papers indicated there “will be race and class wars”. Then that great democratic tredictor James Carville said essentially the same thing after the second debate.
Time to check to the powder and man the barricades folks.

  43. Mighty Skipon 17 Oct 2008 at 12:12 pm 43

    Mike,

Bingo. Although liberals never care about things like facts, truth, law and liberty when it interferes with furthering the leftist agenda.
