Are You Listening OH? PA? WV? — Obama Will Bankrupt Your Coal Jobs

Posted by Dirty Harry on Sunday, November 2nd, 2008

Naturally, the corrupt media’s denying Palin’s liberal media charge. Here’s an excellent response to that.

The beauty of the timing of the tape is that there’s enough time to get it out there but not much time for Obama and his Media Minions to work that corrupt fact check hoo doo they do do so well.

This is pretty explosive stuff hitting all the right states at just the right time. It also shows Obama for the liar he is and brings up the whole narrative of how differently he talks in San Francisco. Bitter clingers, and all that.

Manna from heaven. Our first manna in this election. We’ll take it.

Gee, all these videos are suddenly no longer available. What a surprise.

  3. Major Grahamon 02 Nov 2008 at 6:47 pm 3

I wonder if this was the late “october” surprise we were wondering about. It certainly is getting a lot of attention. Plus it doesn’t help teh one when he comes out and says that basically everyone is stupid and misinterpreting him. Lord how I want this to all be over and me sipping some fine cognac in a little over 48 hours!

  4. Moon 02 Nov 2008 at 6:50 pm 4

    Gina -

    The vids are working now.

AMen Major—my brother is a big city cop and I fear for him on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday—–either way, it will be crazy, but when Mac pulls it off…..

  6. Stephanieon 02 Nov 2008 at 7:12 pm 6

I am sitting here amused. Heh. Love it. Keep pouring it on baby!

  7. TROon 02 Nov 2008 at 7:19 pm 7

I doubt riots, but I certainly would be careful where I drove for a few days after the election unless you have Obama stickers plastered all over your car and Obama pins on your shirt. Their will be some angry people out there and like angry toddlers they may lash out when you least expect it.

  8. Michaelon 02 Nov 2008 at 7:21 pm 8

Obama says he will not answer any more questions until after the election. Following is a very brief exchange between O and Jake Tapper ABC news. Note the Obama arrogance at the end.
    _________
Much has been made of the fact that Joe Biden has been hiding from the press, but he isn’t the only one. Barack Obama won’t take any questions either. Jake Tapper reports:

ABC’s Jake Tapper managed to get Sen. Barack Obama’s attention on the tarmac in Springfield, Mo., this morning.

“What would you tell your Treasury secretary to do differently with the $700 billion?” he asked, according to the pool report.

    Obama laughed.

“It’s a substantive question!” Tapper shouted.

“It is! But Jake, we’re on a tarmac! That’s a pretty good question!” Obama responded.

Tapper: “Have a press conference then!”

    Obama: “I will! On Wednesday!”

By then, of course, it will be a little late. But a compliant press corps doesn’t mind.

No one will care on Wednesday Barry, what you have to say….Newsweek will prepare its December story on how Ayers put together a list for Obama for court appointees, though. Just like the December 2004 story about how Kerry promised McCain the moon if he would join the Dem ticket….too little, too late, the calling card of the MSM.

  10. Ginaon 02 Nov 2008 at 7:31 pm 10

    Thanks, Mo.

Actually, DH, that’s not quite right: Sarah was our first manna, Joe the Plumber was the second, and that “redistributive change” recording was the third.

  11. Wilson the Volleyballon 02 Nov 2008 at 7:37 pm 11

John McCain supports cap and trade too folks.

  12. Michaelon 02 Nov 2008 at 7:45 pm 12

Wilson, I have yet to hear John McCain say he planned to intentionally bankrupt the coal industry, or any other industry for that matter. There is no good defense for this from Obama.

Under Obama how long before we are tearing down wooden fences to burn for heat like Dr. Zhivago?

  13. Mashaon 02 Nov 2008 at 7:49 pm 13

It would be so easy for BO to say McCain supports the same thing. But he isn’t doing it. McCain does pay more lip service to global warming BS than I’d like, and he might have supported some version of the proposal, but as far as I know he’s always been a big supporter of clean coal.

  14. Mashaon 02 Nov 2008 at 7:52 pm 14

Michael - Haven’t you heard? We aren’t supposed to have heat. According to BO, “the rest of the world wouldn’t stand for us to have our thermostats at 70 degrees year round”.

  15. Shawn Streeton 02 Nov 2008 at 7:54 pm 15

Living in the heart of coal country, I can assure you that Republicans have been and will always be a friend of coal. Coal production in this country traditionaly goes through the roof during Republican administrations.

The UMWA (miner’s union) is a whore organization for the Demoncrats though and always endorse libs including Obama even though he has vowed to put them out of business. Thankfully though more and more people are thinking for themselves and the whores at the UMWA have lost a lot of their influence. Hopefully this will be the final nail in their worm infested coffin. (can you tell I’m a little bitter at them?)

  16. Michaelon 02 Nov 2008 at 8:16 pm 16

    Shawn,

Some unions only have relevance when their members are miserable. Keeping them that way keeps them in business. Hence they love the Dems.

  17. Jack Marinoon 02 Nov 2008 at 8:24 pm 17

Obama is the gift that keeps on giving and they say God doesn’t get involved in the affairs of we mortals. This genius just lost how many states that produce coal??

What the hell is coming out on Monday? I thought Jimmy Carter was a retard.

  18. EPorvaznikon 02 Nov 2008 at 8:26 pm 18

Yes, Jack, but Obama has apparently gone full retard.

Michelle Obama says of her husband, the man who will cause the rise of the seas to turn back, “He thinks he can really do anything – he does. With his own power and will, he can fix it.”

    What is megalomania? Per Wisegeek.com.

“Megalomania is an unrealistic belief in one’s superiority, grandiose abilities, and even omnipotence. It is characterized by a need for total power and control over others, and is marked by a lack of empathy for anything that is perceived as not feeding the self.”

    Uh-huh.

  21. Joe Melnickon 02 Nov 2008 at 9:15 pm 21

OT - any idea when Libertas is coming off their summer hiatus? Maybe by next summer?

I love gossip, if anyone knows what the deal is then spill. It’s clear they had no plan other than ousting Harry for being better and more popular than they were.

  22. Snarfblatton 02 Nov 2008 at 9:15 pm 22

The great thing about this, is that unlike a DUI from 25 years ago, or an affair, this little October Surprise speaks to his ideology and the way he would govern. There’s no need to feel guilty, because this is all information voters should have had long ago. I guess the msm giving him a pass for two years backfired.

  23. Jim Treacheron 02 Nov 2008 at 9:32 pm 23

There’s been plenty of manna. That’s why the media is trying so hard, and failing, to hide it.

  24. Bennett Marcoon 02 Nov 2008 at 9:36 pm 24

Folks, we gotta save this bull!

“Senator Barrack Obama’s relatives have congregated at Nyangoma Kogelo village and will remain together until after Tuesday’s US presidential elections.

“They have set aside a bull to slaughter in celebration should the Illinois senator whose father was Kenyan win, according to family spokesperson Mr Malik Abongo.”

(From The Daily Nation, apparently a Kenyan newspaper, via DRUDGE)

  25. Billon 02 Nov 2008 at 9:58 pm 25

Not to dwell on the subject, but Libertas could have been an additional conservative voice in the blogosphere for this election. They really dropped the ball by not posting ANYTHING since July.

  26. Carolynon 02 Nov 2008 at 9:58 pm 26

Damn, Palin’s good. She’s just so - I mean, damn, this woman is good! She doesn’t just put a fork in Obama, she sticks it into the media. ‘Why is this tape coming out now instead of months ago?’ And then telling you that months ago it was handed on a silver platter to the SF Chronicle!

I mean, DAMN, this woman’s good!

(Oh GOD, what I wouldn’t give to whisper in Olbermann’s ear as he listens to Palin - ‘does it make ya tingle, baby?’)

  27. Michaelon 02 Nov 2008 at 10:03 pm 27

Bennett, I think you have hit upon the perfect slogan:

    “Save the bull, Barrack!”

  28. Conan O'Lenomanon 02 Nov 2008 at 10:12 pm 28

Unfortunately, in my neck of Kulifornia, wood fires are banned. Fortunately, it rarely drops below freezing. I believe BHO has based his energy policy on “An Inconvenient Truth.”

The worst place to be on election night will be Chicago’s Grant Park. TV reporters and cameramen better wear body armor.

I’m so looking forward to celebrating McCain’s win late Tuesday night. However, I am fully expecting a flurry of lawsuits on Wednesday. That’s the Obama way.

  29. Jack Marinoon 03 Nov 2008 at 12:58 am 29

Joe Melnick, have you ever read Othello

“O, beware, my lord, of jealousy! It is the green-eyed monster, which doth mock the meat it feeds on.”

    Barrack Obama sat on a wall;
Barrack Obama had a great fall.
    All the Messiah’s horses
    And all the Messiah’s media
    Couldn’t put Obama together again!

He is being exposed for the incompetent empty suit that he is. He is in love with himself. All he had to do was become an actor and save us all this bullshit he has put this country through.

  30. wfon 03 Nov 2008 at 1:16 am 30

If you follow the second like DH posted and check out the recent comments, you can see astroturfing in action. Commenters ignoring the issue and going after Palin with generic accusations - that´s not how a citizen would write, no matter on which side he is.

    Check it out and learn:

Note that the “aggressive” carbon tax as described by Obama would not just ruin smokestack industries. It is a tax on every producer, from food to electronics. Of course they will tell us it´s going to be “revenue neutral” but since the whole point is to punish certain industries, so there is no other word for it than central economic planning. And that is something McCain, for all his stupid talk on the issue, will not do.

  32. Stephanieon 03 Nov 2008 at 6:01 am 32

WILSON I DON”T CARE IF MCCAIN IS A FRIGGEN ATHIEST! Sorry your guy whomever you chose back in January didn’t win but hey thats life. You gotta get your big girl panties on, wipe your eyes, and go on. Unless you really want Obama TO WIN!

  33. Sooner Galon 03 Nov 2008 at 10:22 am 33

Is this an October surprise and, if so, who discovered the tape? When the tape appeared revealing Obama’s ideas about the judicial system and wealth redistribution, I felt that it should have been found earlier in the election if McCain’s oppositional research team were doing their job but perhaps they were saved until now so the Barakie elves wouldn’t have time to descredit these evil policies.

    I just hope it works!
