Land “deal”: Nothing hidden here. Contact the real estate agent, papers will be open to public view, paid more than the appraisal. Closing on the same day? Good grief, even I have done that on property with another/adjacent buyer. Hm…I guess that rules me out as a presidential candidate.
Campaign pledge: Excuse me, but what I see in your link is conjecture? Geez, maybe Obama will quit the race, divorce Michelle, run away with Lindsay Lohan. Fly to Mars. That’s the best you’ve got?
It will be fun to see what snow-bound Wisconsin will do today. The race is fairly close and the state is diverse. Northerners will waste their votes as they waste their potential and vote for Ron Paul, the darling of the huntin’ and fishin’ set. Madison and environs will support Obama, and Milwaukee will be big test. The burbs will go for McCain–although anyone who saw his Reagan Day Dinner speech on C-SPAN this weekend will be horrified by his calling jolly old Tommy Thompson “brilliant”. Even at our worst, many of us have never told such a whopper in the face of political supporters who love the affable old guy. And if McCain is going to “depend on this brilliant man” (direct quote, no plagiarism) to give us universal health care, I’m calling the moving van and heading for Canada today.
So Harry. Things move apace. Huckabee might do pretty well in Wisconsin. Many evangelicals in the small towns and working class suburbs. And those huge mega-churches that suck in more affluent families could have an impact, too.
But the goofy criticisms of Obama. Wake me when you have something good, dear.
And no, you can’t have your ashtray back. I love it.

McCain is promising universal health care now?
I hadn’t heard about this at all. You wouldn’t be starting a rumor to further undercut McCain’s support among conservatives, would you?

Don’t know, but I don’t believe a majority will throw their support behind him. Or, for that matter, Northerners.

Our jobs as conservatives is to wait until he wins the nomination, and then flood the internet–and our local newspapers–with questions about his church and it’s lionization of the Jew-hating Louis Farrakhan.
