Obama Collapses In The Polls — [Dirty Harry]

The first post-God damn America polls are finally coming out and it looks as though Mr. Throw-His-Grandma-Under-The-Bus is collapsing — and collapsing fast:
New Gallup Poll Daily tracking finds Hillary Clinton with a 49% to 42% lead over Barack Obama in national Democratic voters’ presidential nomination preference. This is the first time Clinton has held a statistically significant lead in over a month.
Pennsylvania: Clinton has jumped into a 26-point lead
“The big story in the Presidential race over the last week has been the comments of Barack Obama’s pastor about America,” said Dean Debnam, President of Public Policy Polling. “It appears this issue has hurt him a good deal with likely primary voters in Pennsylvania.”
Clinton even appears to be making in roads among black voters in the state. She trails just 63-27 with that group, which Obama has tended to get over 80% of the vote from in key primary states so far. She has a 40 point lead, 63-23, with white voters.
I began the day noting that Obama’s lead in North Carolina was shrinking.
This poll from Public Policy Polling out this afternoon suggests that it may be gone entirely, putting Obama up over Hillary by a single point, 44 percent to 43 percent. (Caveat: PPP had the poll closer than most other pollsters last month, putting Obama up by 4 percent.)
The good news is that Obama’s delegate lead is insurmountable. Too late Democrats. Your buyer’s remorse is too late.
