No doubt the attackers were themselves illegal or the children of illegals.

And if she had attacked one of them first, there would be an army of liberal lawyers looking to take up the case …

“No doubt they were illegals or children of illegals”? Do you have a source you can site for that? Whether you’re right or wrong is irrelevant. Its all well and good for one to cleverly hide prejudice behind the anonymity of a blog, but intelligent discussion usually precludes generalizations. I’d put those animals on the video behind bars for 20 years without a second’s hesitation, but ignorance and hatred will never solve this issue.

Stating that their legal status is irrelevant will never solve this issue either.

P.S. 20 years in prison? Fierce.

I didnt say that their legal status is irrelevant. I commented on the previous poster who ASSUMED what these kids’ status was.

Their legal status is very relevant. I agree with you on that.

Fair enough, Aris. I (obviously) misread your comment.

That said, given the sheer number of illegal aliens in this country, I don’t know why it isn’t fair to wonder aloud as to their status. Now, perhaps Kishke asserted more than wondered, but to broadly imply that those who do so are ignorant and hateful seems to bely the same prejudice and generalizations you were decrying.

As always, I could be right. :)

P.S. Kishke, sorry about labeling you a he/she. That was uncalled for.
